There were 112 ladies, as well as a few pastors, who attended the Winona Circuit LWMS Rally here at Good Shepherd on Saturday, April 13. A variety of mission displays and speakers gave current information on WELS Missions in addition to the main presenters on Institutional Ministries/Prison Chaplaincy and our local La Crosse jail ministry.
Thank you to all Good Shepherd ladies and Pastor Pope for their preparations, service, food and devotion. Good Shepherd’s LWMS mission offerings for the Spring were $358. New mission projects were selected for this next year: Tools for Outreach for Home Missions and Africa for World Missions. The next rally will be in October at Christ Lutheran, Cochrane, WI.
