We would like to start getting the volunteers needed for VBS too. You can either sign up on the sheets posted on the windows in the welcome area at church, or you can sign up here. There are many different areas to choose from. It would be great to have at least the lead volunteers filled by June 24th so we can start planning and getting everything prepped. There are manuals for every group that have an ample number of activities to choose from so if you want to be a lead you do not have to come up with everything on your own. I will also be working with each group. We welcome volunteers starting at 6th grade on up.
If you would like to volunteer, but you’re unsure about what would be required, please don’t hesitate to talk to Tammy Melott or contact her at tmelott@gsholmen.org. If you cannot help on the actual VBS dates, there is a sign-up to help with decorations. This would require some volunteer time the early part of July.
